VISITOR RULES:
Dear Visitors!
Please observe the following rules when visiting the museum.
No vehicles of any kind, such as bicycles, scooters (except small folding scooters for children no larger than 90 cm, which should be kept in the cloakroom), live animals (except assistance dogs with distinctive signs), knives, cutting instruments, drinks or anything that could endanger the safety or security of the artefacts, visitors or staff.
NO VISITORS MAY ENTER THE MUSEUM while under the influence of alcohol or intoxicated, or while conspicuously unkempt, underdressed or inappropriately attired (e.g., in a bathing suit, bare upper body, bare feet). If a visitor's appearance (underdressed, conspicuously unkempt, etc.) is disruptive to other visitors, museum staff may ask the visitor to leave the building.
NO SMOKING smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited in the entire Museum
CLOACKROOM: Please place your luggage, umbrella and bags larger than A/4 size in the cloakroom. No backpacks of any size may be worn on the back, all backpacks - regardless of size - must be left in the cloakroom. The contents of bags may be checked by security staff. In addition to the above, it is prohibited to bring food into the exhibition area. Drinks may be brought into the exhibition area only in sealed bottles.
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY: photography is allowed on the museum premises.
CLOSING TIME: Please leave the building by 18:00, last ticket sale at 17:00.
MOBILE PHONE: Please do not disturb other visitors in the exhibition areas by talking loudly, turn down your mobile phone and do not use it for talking.
CHILDREN: The institution welcomes under-age visitors, but for reasons of personal and artifact safety, the following rules must be observed. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult when in the Museum. The parent or adult accompanying the child is responsible for ensuring that the child protects the integrity of the exhibits and uses the exhibition space and its furnishings as intended. The parent or adult accompanying person is responsible for the physical safety of the minor and for his or her behaviour in a manner appropriate to the Museum. Please be considerate of other visitors during your visit to the exhibitions and cooperate with the hall guards who warn you of this.
GROUP GUIDANCE: It is the responsibility of the group leader, accompanying teacher or parent to ensure that all members of their group comply with the Visitor Policy.
If you do not agree with the visitor rules, you may return your ticket to the box office before the session or within 30 minutes of purchase on site with a receipt given to you at the time of purchase, until the box office closes on the day. In the event of non-compliance with these rules or refusal to cooperate, your right to remain in the museum may be withdrawn by our security guards.
